The Sandhara is formed within the Island nation of Sri Lanka as a center for arts and culture, and it is formulated with a unique and a novel vision that appeals universally, by which it spreads the shade across different states, societies communities across the seas and beyond the shores, with a positive effort to create a better world for living. The fundamental concept of Sandhara and the inception of Sandhara Center is ideologically architected to carry out research, diverse intellectual activities in different calibre and cast guidance in order to illuminate, enhance and rise the range of thinking and spirituality in mankind through arts and philosophy. Diverse social intricacies, crises, conflicts, and ethnic issues that storms globally throughout many decades, have drastically and rapidly decayed the absolute value of humanity that should have prevailed in human minds and souls. By which the general lifestyle and livelihood of humans have been grounded on narrow political and commercial means and policies, which in reflectively have surfaced as a critical issue across the Earth. Regardless of diverse social differences, weaving intellectual human and social activities, humanitarian ideologies and concepts along with aesthetics, arts and culture is a key conceptual exercise at Sandhara, and it enhances and empowers equality among mankind across the globe through every means of art.

Sandhara Center is eternally dedicated and practice its’ key concept of inception , In order to widen the span of thinking in mankind through spiritually intellectual concepts , as well to generate sensitive human beings with persistence of deeper mean and values of humanism and humanity , and cast prominent focus and concentration towards general human needs and wants , feelings , concepts, beyond the limits of religiosity , nationality , cast and creed or gender differences, which humans are inherited by birth. Whether it is Eastern or Western, from an unknown age, music the universal language of heart and soul has flown across many generations inspiring human minds beyond the boundaries of sensitivity. And today music has evolved with novel diversity in different avenues. Composers and musicians have always been complex mastermind creators of unconditional and uncommon musical creations.

Co-Founder

Venerable Anuradhapuraye Pasannagna Thero exemplifies a well-disciplined and committed practitioner of Theravada Buddhism. Over the course of two decades, he has immersed himself in the profound practices of meditation and Abhidhamma, choosing to reside in various rural monasteries to deepen his spiritual journey. Notably versed in the intricacies of the Abhidhamma Pitaka, Venerable Anuradhapuraye Pasannagna Thero's scholarly pursuits have delved into the profound realms of the mind and spirituality.

Venerable Wahanthere Siddhartha Nayaka Thero

Venerable Wahanthere Siddhartha Nayaka Thero, a graduate from the University of Kelaniya, holds esteemed positions as the chief incumbent at Sri Shailathalaramaya and vice incumbent for the Panduwasnuwara Rajamaha Viharaya in Panduwasnuwara.
Recognized for his exemplary contributions, he was honored with the title of Sanghanayaka for the Devamedi Hathpatthuwa chapter in the Kurunegala District.

Saman Athaudahetti

His newspaper articles, books, travelogues, translations are all embraced by the readers. Athaudahetti's television and radio presence remain memorable for decades.

The lyricist and the announcer in Saman have received accolades. Starting his journey at SLBC, with the emergence of television, Saman steered to television media.
